Imagine waking to the gentle sound of the Caribbean. Breakfast on the veranda in the morning sun, Maybe a sailing trip, some snorkelling or go diving; A lazy 10-minute stroll into town to sample some of the many shops, bars and restaurants; Or simply relax on the beach, right outside your door. You must be staying at Casa Caracol!! Located on a beautiful quiet beach, we offer the choice of two tasteful apartments or their combination as the whole house, depending on your group size.

The Upstairs at Casa Caracol is a light, open and airy design that incorporates two bedrooms, two bathrooms with spacious accommodations for up to six people.

The large living area has vaulted hardwood ceilings, ceiling fans, air conditioning and direct access to the veranda through French doors. The kitchen has all the expected modern appliances including a gas stove oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and blender. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, a king-size bed (option of two singles beds in the rear bedroom), ceiling fans and air conditioning for your comfort.

Both bedrooms have sea views with large windows for the cooling sea breezes.  There is also a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room. Bed linens and towels (beach, bath, hand and face) are supplied for each guest and housekeeping is provided every other day. The indoor entertainment includes a large cable TV with most of your favorite and premium channels.  There is a CD radio tape player, and a selection of board games, books, and magazines.

The Downstairs at Casa Caracol is a fully equipped home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and spacious accommodation for up to eight people.

All three bedrooms have sea views, air conditioning and ceiling fans. Two of the bedrooms have queen-size beds the third has a king bed with the option of two single beds.  There is also a double size futon in the living area.  The two full sized bathrooms have all towels (beach, bath, hand, and face), linens and hairdryers, provided. The open plan living area has a large kitchen fully equipped with all the major appliances you would expect at home. Included is a gas stove/oven, microwave, fridge freezer, blender, and coffee machine.

The living area is equipped with cable TV including most premier US Cable networks, a CD radio Tape player (and a selection of CD’s), books, magazines and board games to entertain you. There are large French doors leading out to the veranda and the beautiful views of the Caribbean.

The combination rental of both the Upstairs and Downstairs at Casa Caracol gives you the rare opportunity in San Pedro to rent a luxury five bedroom four bathroom house right on a quiet beach, yet within a few minutes walk of the town center. The perfect retreat for your larger group of family or friends. Access between the two apartments is simple with two external staircases allowing entry downstairs via either the front or rear of the building and it is also sheltered from any inclement weather.

Housekeeping

Duly is the Housekeeper and she will be at the house every other morning (or afternoon if you like your sleep!), Monday to Saturday. Housekeeping includes a full change of all bed and bath linens, floors swept and mopped and the kitchen and the bathrooms cleaned. Housekeeping is available every day on request for an additional fee of US $100 per week.

Laundry

A full service Laundry is available through Duly where your clothes will be collected, washed, dried, folded and returned on the next day for US $10 per industrial load.

Cook/Meals

If you wish a complete rest from your chores Duly is also an excellent Cook, offering tasty local dishes with the option of preparing the odd meal right through to every one. The rate is US$30 per meal plus groceries. A freelance Chef is also available for western dining serving Dinner and Lunch. Please ask us for sample menus or more details on pricing.

All prices are in US Dollars and do not include the Government levied 9% Hotel Tax . There are no hidden surcharges or additional service charges. Prices shown are per night for the number of people staying that night and are based on double occupancy. A discount of 5% will be given on bookings of 7 nights or more. Please note some holiday periods have a minimum booking length of 7 nights.
