The staff were wonderful, the food and drinks were outstanding, the accommodations were top notch. We stayed in one of the garden cabanas (still with a view of the sea) and found it heavenly. Yoga under the palapa with Kirsten every morning was more energizing than anything I've ever experienced, and a two hour massage with Milio is something not to be forgotten (you'll need somebody to pour you down the stairs). Ak'bol is conveniently located, quiet, and yet with easy access to town either via water taxi or by foot or bicycle. Heading back at Christmas this year!
