Caye Chapel is a par-72 course that lays beautifully along the Caribbean Sea. This is a flat but long course, playing to over 7000 yards, with four par-5 holes. Between the back and front nines is a 23,000 square foot clubhouse.
The clubhouse is stunning, with tile floors, high ceilings, views of the barrier reef and sea, imported fixtures and a bar. It rivals the clubhouses at top U.S. country clubs. It also houses a restaurant with both indoor and open air dining, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a work-out center and a tennis complex.
Lovers of the game of golf find an escape that simply cannot be compared to any other course in the world. You may even find yourself through all 18 holes never coming in contact with another player! Your own private golf course!
However, you may catch sight of a few crocodiles! The lakes of the golf course have several inhabitants that have been here longer than the course has… enjoying paradise and causing absolutely no safety issues. They do ask that you do not feed the crocodiles, or initiate contact. They are still wild creatures, although they keep to themselves and are much more afraid of humans than we should be of them.
There is no dress code on the golf course. Please bring and wear only soft-spikes. Day Golfing Guests package includes unlimited golf, golf club rental, and golf cart usage as well as use of all island amenities.
Transportation to and from Caye Chapel can be arranged for you. Reservations are required to schedule all tee times. There are certain dates that the island is closed to the public due to large weddings, corporate functions and celebrity visits.
Caye Chapel does offer guests complimentary use of rental clubs. They are kept in great condition and are standard rental sets. However, the course is quite challenging. If you are a serious, avid golfer; please make arrangements to bring your own clubs and you will be thankful you did.
