• Duration: Two and one half hours (you don’t have to be a bride to enjoy this treatment)

HONEYMOON BLISS

• For Her: Therapeutic massage, pedicure, facial, rosemary & lavender hair treatment
• For Him:  One and one half hour sports massage & salt glo
• You can enjoy your treatments together in the same room or apart if you’d like some solitude. Whichever you prefer.

Yoga

Bring balance and vitality to your life.Personalized yoga classes to match your ability and goals. Enjoy a private yoga class at your resort or condo, on the beach or the end of your pier. Personalized yoga can be for a single person or a group as well.

Carrie Tengler has been teaching yoga since 2002 and practicing since 1992.  She has a background in hatha, vinyasa, flow, and kundalini.

Outcalls – Available on all massage and bodywork. Any other treatment is done in house. There will be an additional charge. We require 2 or more people.

Reservations – Reservations are preferred but not absolutely necessary. We will ask for a credit card number to ensure you your space. You are guaranteed your time selected when booking ahead and can also ask any questions you may have. Generally, calling a day or two before will give you plenty of flexibility. We will try our best to accommodate your requests. Without a reservation you may not be able to receive the exact date and time requested, especially during the high season.

Cancellation Policy – If you do make reservations, if you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. 48 hours if you are scheduled for more than one treatment. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment we will charge 50% of the treatment for which you are booked. If you cancel within 2 hours of your scheduled appointment or simply do not show, you will be charged 100%. special occasions and/or large group booking are asked to cancel at least one week before. Every client is important to us and we want you to have the best possible experience at Sol Spa. This policy guarantees our full attention to you during your time with us.

Payment – We accept U.S. and/or Belizean currency, local checks, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. A sales tax will be added at check-out (whatever the country tax is at the time).

Gift Certificates – Gift certificates are available for any treatment or any amount. They make perfect gifts for any occasion. There is an expiration date of two months after the purchase date. If you’re out of the country and would like to purchase gift certificates, that can be arranged. Just email us or give us a call.

Special Occasions – There are many reasons to celebrate in life. Why not make it a day at the spa? We accommodate birthdays, bridal showers, anniversaries, and much, much more. During high season we have 4 massage therapists available and a manicurist/pedicurist. We are able to work on 3-4 people at a time. Inquire for full details and special rates for larger groups.

How To Spa

Before Your Treatment – It is a good idea to shower before your treatment/s. clean skin absorbs all the oils and ingredients much more efficiently insuring you receive the most benefits from your experience with us.

Quiet Zone – Upon entering Sol Spa, please keep your tones at a lower level. Often times there will be treatments in session and it’s nice for everyone if while in the spa, voices are kept light. Just another way to ensure relaxation is the key element to your spa experience.

Arrival – We want you to receive your entire treatment with some time to relax beforehand. Please allow yourself plenty of time to get to the spa at least 5-10 minutes before your treatments. We regret that we will not be able to extend the time for late comers… often times the schedule is very precise. You will still be charged for your time scheduled.

Privacy and Modesty – Your privacy is very important to us. You will be in your own treatment room, unless scheduled otherwise. Even though it is traditionally appropriate to completely disrobe for treatments, if you are uncomfortable, you are welcome to wear underwear. Regardless of what you decide, every therapist is very considerate of you and has the ability to properly drape each part of the body being worked on at the time.

Gratuity – It is customary to show gratitude for the services received… especially if you feel your therapist has proven to be extraordinary. It is our goal that we reach beyond your expectations throughout your experience.

Expecting Mothers – Almost all of our therapists have been trained in the Maya Abdominal Massage which allows for an extensive understanding of what expecting mothers need. We know the points to avoid and the strokes to allow more ease as you go through this miraculous time.

Children (up to 12) – We love children and welcome them as long as they have a treatment scheduled an are accompanied by an adult. Massage is extremely beneficial for youngsters.
