Home of the 2 for 1 martinis.  Great fun, fabulous restaurant, probably the largest helpings of any restaurant in San Pedro, good service. Try and see if you can eat a full hamburger – they are enormous!  The ceviche also gets super high marks.

1/2 Mile South at Exotic Caye Resort.  Recently taken over by new owners from Texas who are having live music on Sunday afternoons with BBQ and horseshoes.

Coconut Dr. South of Town, just south of island supermarket. Good wines and people congregate on a Friday evening for a couple of glasses and a little bit of cheese before going out for dinner. Good place to buy wines/cheeses and pates.

Beachfront. Just south of  Blue Water Grill. Famous for their Sunday BBQs.  The bar is very popular and the beer is cold.  Its worth a visit for the breeze and views.

Beside New Gas Station. 3/4mile south of town. A bar full of Spanish speaking hostesses.  They will show you the island any time of day or night.  Spanish clientele and loud Spanish music.

Across from Crazy Canuks bar. 1/2 Mile to town. A place to hide away and to chat with Robbie and Matt. Cold beer -good conversation-a little dusty. Karaoke on Wednesdays; good place to stop if you are staying down south-try the panty rippers.

Across from Ruby’s Hotel.  South end of Front Street.  Pool table and flatscreen TVs to watch sports.  Karaoke on some nights.

Inside Holiday Hotel. South end of Front Street. Outside deck on the beach overlooking the Caribbean Sea.  Known for its 80’s parties and THE Halloween party, where people travel from all over Belize to party hard and show off the most creative costumes.

Entry on Front street with Lounge. Not a bad bar/lounge -very hot if the breeze is not exactly right-cold beer -popular with younger locals.

Beachfront. Downtown. By Tacklebox /San Pedro Express dock. Lounge atmosphere blends great with the beachside location.  Check for food specials and happy hours.  Popular with the ex-pat and tourist crowd.

Across from La Playa Lounge. Entrance at dock by San Pedro Express/ Tacklebox dock. Front Street. Local hangout with pool table and beer towers (your own tap at your table!).  One of the best sports bars on the Island with a projection screen, flat panel TVs, and surround sound.  Full bar menu also.

Beachfront. Entrance Beachfront at Spindrift Hotel. Home of the ‘chicken drop’ -so a must at 6.00pm on  a Wednesday. Trevor (the new bar manager) is teriffic but he needs help in getting the owners to change the toilets which are disgusting.

Downtown Front Street. Across from Main Central Park.  Some say it’s the best night club in Belize.  Good music, good dancing, good videos, and the party goes on all night!

Beachfront right next to Central Park, upstairs and outside Big Daddy’s Nightclub.  Bar is open until 2am.  If you want to stay out all night, you can go into the nightclub after 2 am and dance until closing time!

Downtown. Access Front street and beachfront. Live music most nights -a hangout for tourists and a few locals. Great views and a good place to dance the night away.

Across from Fido’s and owned by Ivo of Caribbean Connection, formerly best bartender in Fido’s.  Good selection of coffee drinks, nice outdoor courtyard seating on Front Street.  They have paninis, pastries, etc.

Next to Lily’s Treasure Chest, north end of Front Street.  Beachfront bar makes for great afternoons having a cocktail or beer on the beach.  Located in front of Amigos del Mar Dock, this spot is great for tourists and locals.

Small patio bar adjoining  Jaguar Night Club. Front Street. Downtown.  Ever since it opened it has been incredibly popular. Has cold beer. It is a good place to sit and shout out to your friends on front street to come and join you for a cold one.

Next to Island Deli. Side street beside Belize Bank.  It is very popular with the Spanish speaking club goers-loud, smoky, but great atmosphere.

Middle Street. Across From Lino’s meats. Locals only -presently closed except for some weekends.

Airstrip Area behind Maya Air on the Lagoon.  This bar has a couple of pool tables.  Bar has loud music plus hostesses.

Just north of the Bridge. Beachfront. Open during the day. COLD  beer thank goodness -microwave food -ok. Nice spot -owned by a mother & daughter from Canada. Best time to be in this bar is when the sky divers land by their front door -that is really something special.

Another local bar -bottled beer sometimes cold. Music loud-hostesses available -spanish spoken only.
