Located Across from S.P. Hardware. Coconut Drive. Approx 1 mile from town. Behind the large green house. Loud spanish music with spanish speaking girls -always a lot of them. Toilet revolting, has warm beer-crap rum, but you didn’t come here for the drinks.

San Telmo Area. Coconut Drive. Across from Marina’s Store. Sometimes has ladies’ of the night -purely for locals-herbal remedies are sometimes available.

Coconut drive. Sth of Perla Escondida. Awful horribly loud music-dreadful food. Simply just dreadful.

1/2 Mile South. At Exotic Caye Resort. Has just been taken over by new owners from Texas who are having live music on Sunday afternoons -an average bbq is available (not part of the bar) and horseshoes are played by the more athletic type people. Nice atmosphere and good fun on a Sunday.

Coconut Dr. South of Town, just south of island supermarket. Good wines and people congregate on a Friday evening for a couple of glasses of hooch and a little bit of cheese before going out for dinner. Good place to buy wines/cheeses and pates.

Beachfront. Just south of  Blue Water Grill. Famous for their bar b ques on Sundays though currently not cooking during slow season-when Bruce cooked the bar b q it really was special-however it has dropped dramatically in quality and quantity. Beside New Gas Station. 3/4mile south of town. A bar full of hostesses -virtually all spanish speakers. They will show you the island any time of day or night. Toilets disgusting-beer warm -spanish clientele-very loud distorted spanish music.

Across from Crazy Canuks bar. 1/2 Mile to town. A place to hide away and to chat with Robbie and Matt. Cold beer -good conversation-a little dusty. Karaoke on Wednesdays; good place to stop if you are staying down south-try the panty rippers.

Across from Ruby’s Hotel. South end of Front Street. A nice looking bar but only spanish -not a place to hangout as there never seems to be anyone there.

Inside Holiday Hotel. South end of Front Street. Bar staff needs to be better -the bar is a corridor but the beer is coldish.

Entry on Front street with Lounge. Not a bad bar/lounge -very hot if the breeze is not exactly right-cold beer -popular with younger locals.

Across from La Playa. Entrance at dock by San Pedro Express, tacklebox dock. Front Street. Local spanish hangout-beer cold- but music on when football is on -so no commentary -real football I am talking about.

Beachfront. Entrance Beachfront at Spindrift Hotel. Home of the ‘chicken drop’ -so a must at 6.00pm on  a Wednesday. Trevor (the new bar manager) is teriffic but he needs help in getting the owners to change the toilets which are disgusting.

Downtown Front Street. Across from Main Central Park. Best night club in Belize-best bouncers.Very rarely trouble-no knives-well run-good music-good dancing-good videos.

Beachfront. Upstairs. Outside Big Daddy’s Nightclub.  Next to Central Park. You have to be careful in this place-do not buy drugs in the club as you will end up in jail. No pic yet. unfinished. done by October. will get pic then. Old Island Perk. Across from Fido’s. Not yet open but is now owned by Ivo of Caribbean Connection formerly best barperson in Fido’s -will no doubt give Fido’s a run for their money.

Next to Lily’s treasure chest. North end Front street. Beachfront. In front of Amigos del Mar Dock. Great hangout; all the Amigos crowd drink there -beer fantastically cold (almost as cold as Pedro’s)-have had great afternoons on the beach-good for tourists and locals-great service.

Small patio bar adjoining  Jaguar Night Club. Front Street. Downtown.  Ever since it opened it has been incredibly popular. Has cold beer. It is a good place to sit and shout out to your friends on front street to come and join you for a cold one.

Next to Island Deli. Side street beside Belize Bank. I think it is only open Thursday/Friday and Saturday nights. It is very popular with the rich spanish speaking club goers-loud, smoky, but great atmosphere-arrive around 12.00am(midnight).

Middle Street. Across From Lino’s meats. Locals only -presently closed except for some weekends.

Airstrip Area. Behind Maya Air. Lagoon Side. Run by Ra0ul’s (famous for owning the Rose Garden in Ladyville) Son-ok -has a couple of pool tables.  Bar has loud awful music -plus a few girls providing various hostessing services-coldish beer.

Behind Boatyard. Airstrip Area. San Pedrito. Lives up to its name -a few girls-crap service. Loud spanish music-warmish beer-has pool table.

Airstrip Area. San Pedrito. Lagoon Side. To Lime, pass Tropic, turn left end of road. Popular bar with locals and tourists. Nice views, coldish beer-good bar staff.

Airstrip Area. San Pedrito. Lagoon Side. Famous for being one of Belikin’s biggest clients.  Coldish beer lots of young ladies -some are even Belizean.  Watch the toilets -shoes are necessity.

At The Tides Beach Resort. 5 Min walk from Wet Willy’s. Open evening only- during slow season. Owned by my old mate Patojo -tremendous fun if he is there and is in a drinking mood. A good place to hangout and talk to the divers from his dive shop -COLD beer.

Just north of the Bridge. Beachfront. Open during the day. COLD  beer thank goodness -microwave food -ok. Nice spot -owned by a mother & daughter from Canada. Best time to be in this bar is when the sky divers land by their front door -that is really something special.

Just south of Casa Pan Dulce Bakery. North end of town.
Another local bar -bottled beer sometimes cold. Music loud-hostesses available -spanish spoken only.

Lagoon Side. Behind La Popular Bakery. North of town.
Way way too hot -another locals hangout with pool tables. Not very welcoming-beer cool-you will be hit up for rounds of drinks.
Herbal medicines available -music ludicrously loud.

Across from Oscar’s Gym. At the bridge. North End.  At the cut.
Opens and closes on a whim. Dready is famous for working for years at Cholos-a real local hangout. Bring lots of money as you will expected to buy at least one round for the house. Herbal medicines available.

A little expensive but if walking your dogs worthwhile to pop in for happy hour 6-00pm till 7.00pm-good cold draught belikin

2 Miles South of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. Beach.closed most of the time

2.5 miles south of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.A lovely little bar in Pelican Reef Villas -great barman but I forget his name but very popular with guests

5.5 Miles South. Newly opened. Will be serving Jerk Chicken. Beer warm but a nice place to stop at the end of the island
