The Baymen

I see in a thread on the other board a quote for SPS that refers to the Baymen as having been shipwrecked British sailors. This of course is incorrect - they were English sailors. There was no such place as Britain in 1638 and it is most unlikely that an English ship would have had any Scots aboard. "England" is NOT synonymous with "a part of Britain". I would post this on the other board were I able.
