I owe an apology to SAGA and all San Pedranos

I've been a Peter (Pedro) apologist, but no more. My wife (a veterinarian) recently brought some veterinary medicines to donate to SAGA. A friend (another vet) also brought some drugs to donate to SAGA and the private vet. It appears thst Peter has a problem with SAGA selling donated medicines but not the private vet (his girlfriend?). I have heard that Peter, although abrasive, does good things for San Pedro. In this case, he is doing a major disservice to the indigent animals of the community. To all who warned me, I apologize.

Betty you need to explain the problem a little more and did you get the other side of the story. There was a problem a while back with the vet competing with the private vet using donated supplies. I can understand how the private vet (Laurie) would not like that after the investment of the building and all the equipment. Also the story goes that some of the supplies where out of date and used inappropriately not by the new vet but by SAGA personnel.
It is the hope of everyone that both vets can survive and stay on AC but to do that there has to be some what of an even playing field. This is why it was difficult for SAGA to get permission from the officials to become a full service shop, so to speak. These issues had to be ironed out and I don't think we heard fully what the resolve was but I think I can guess. That is probably what your problem is now.

It's noteworthy that anyone whom Marty has decided is "against his views" has been blocked from that board. There has been a recent diatribe from someone closely connected with SAGA which is (I believe) full of disinformation, both by direct misstatement and omission. Yet no-one who knows the facts is able to post a reply. How convenient!
