When I was there in May, this was the status of the movie theater:

Can anyone give me an update on it's progress?  My wife and I took a walk around the construction while we were there and it looks like it will be a very nice place.

Very exciting stuff:)

I was surprised to see that there will be stadium seating and two screens.  Much more like a real "theater" than I was expecting.

This would be an excellent addition on AC. I think it would be packed every night. There's nothing like a good movie on a big screen.  In the summer, many large cities here in California used to have movie night where they would project a movie on the side of a large building. You could bring your beach chair and picnic and enjoy. Not sure if there would be a big enough blank wall on AC to do this?

Now all we need is a bowling alley with a permit to sell beer...wouldn't that be nice!! I sure wish one of the deep pockets would consider building one.

Pamkillen was talking about doing this at the library.  Not sure if it ever happened.

Just hire a local kid to come down for the afternoon to set up the pins and you're good to go.  Works for me anyway.
