What types of dog food are readily available there in San Pedro?

We're bringing our schnauzer on our next trip and would like to transition him to something we can feed him there.

The dog food that is most consistently available is Pedigree dry and canned food.  There are many other dry foods available but supplies can run out forcing you to switch foods for short periods if you haven't stocked up.

And it's available nearly everywhere, or do you get your food at any particular places?

I generally buy Purina puppy dry food and Pedigree puppy canned food.  I wouldn't say it's available "anywhere" but so long as it's on the island it isn't usually hard to find.  Sometimes though weeks can go by with none available at all, so as Joanna says it's important to keep a good stock.  I try to buy from Pampered Paws when I can - prices are the same as or lower than elsewhere, and I feel the money is going to a better cause.

The majority of stores, including all the supermarkets, carry Pedigree.  I buy all my dog food from Marina's. Their prices are good and I can't remember them ever running out of supply when I needed it.
