agreed moose, but in the case of banana beach, what kind of title do you suggest the owner's of the individual units hold?  i would guess it's the strata title of corp. shares, but maybe i'm wrong here.  wouldn't be the first time

I suspect that it is the concept of strata title of corporate shares that I'm not familiar with. I thought that strata title was a means of ownership of real estate where the owner does not own the land but has the registered title to the unit.

My typo made it unclear - should read "i guess the strata type OR (not of) corp. shares".     banana beach is probably sells the units as condos with strata title to ind. units instead of a cooperative-type of corp shares since it was developed in the new registration zone of sp.  nice development/property anyhoo - one of the best in belize IMHO.
