I'm very broad minded

Being a Brit I had never heard of Taps, but I've looked it up now. It was very good, but I can't help comparing it to a feat I witnessed many years ago in Lincoln Minster, England. A girl who I think was then about 15 played Jeremiah Clarke's "Trumpet Voluntary", complete with accompaniment. That means she was seated at the console of the great organ there (5 manuals), played the trumpet with her right hand, the manuals with her left (including selecting and changing stops and manuals), plus the pedal keyboard. The performance was note-perfect and very musical. To be fair, she did get an organ scholarship to Oxford University the next year, two years younger than normal, and a first class degree three years later.
