I noticed quite a heated debate on the "halo" board yesterday.  It appears that a gringo is running for political office who supposedly has a few skeletons in his closet.  Whether that is true or not is no concern of mine since I don't live on the island.  What does concern me is the degree of censorship imposed by the administration of that forum, followed by the wolf pack mentality of the usual regulars.  You would think encouraging civility would be the intelligent response to a subject acutely Belizean.  Instead we see censorship and banning.  Just another reason to not take any discussions on that forum seriously.

I believe that said administrator knows or suspects that what has been alleged is true, but true to form is more concerned with his advertising revenue bottom line than with any considerations of honesty or morality.  Some of the most corrupt and dishonest people in Belize have been welcomed onto that forum with open arms.

I don't have the depth of experience with that forum as you have Peter, but if what you say is true it certainly explains the method in which posts and people are eliminated from the love fest
