Correct, the 2008 Congress may not be responsible for the financial meltdown, but they are responsible for "bringing" the legislation to the floor to potentially solve the problem...TARP.
Is that the legislation that doubled the deficit and had just about no affect on unemployment? OK, I guess I understand what your saying. It was the Dem. congress and senate's fault not Obama. One question though? Was it Bush's fault?

You know I don't really give a rat's ass who's fault it was. I'm interested in getting us moving in the direction to correct the current situation corrected and the present course is not going to get us there. Higher taxes with more spending is not going to get us there. For the up-teenth time most are OK with higher taxes, IF spending is substantially cut and the higher taxes are shared by everyone. In addition overhaul the tax code for businesses to help them be competitive.
