Well as usual the right wing lobbyists are in force in Wash D.C. promoting their no job growth agenda....unless it's coupled with generous big business tax cuts and regulatory restraints designed to relax water and air standards mandated by the federal government over the last 30 years.....here's the highlights of their visit to 2 republican congressmen.

On Monday, September 12, Brad Hooker of the Center for Responsive Politics' Open Secrets blog posted an exposé of the money that the corporate members of ALEC's "Private Enterprise" Board, including AT&T, Exxon Mobil, Kraft, Coca-Cola and Koch Industries spent to lobby Washington and fill the campaign chests of ALEC alumni in Congress, as well as other Congressmembers. ALEC alumnus John Boehner received the most from ALEC Board corporations, a total of "$368,200 from the people and political action committees associated with the companies on ALEC's private enterprise board during the 2010 election cycle." Second place goes to another ALEC alumnus, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Virginia), who has been introducing ALEC's agenda to the House. He collected "$328,100 from people and PACs associated with 17 companies on the ALEC private enterprise board."

And if you believe these 2 guys are working for the American people you're smokin shit you can't afford Wink

GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt, The Head Of Obama’s Jobs Council, Is Moving Jobs And Economic Infrastructure To China At A Blistering Pace
Quote
Jeffrey Immelt, the head of Barack Obama's highly touted "Jobs Council", is moving even more GE infrastructure to China.  GE makes more medical-imaging machines than anyone else in the world, and now GE has announced that it "is moving the headquarters of its 115-year-old X-ray business to Beijing".  Apparently, this is all part of a "plan to invest about $2 billion across China" over the next few years.  But moving core pieces of its business overseas is nothing new for GE.  Under Immelt, GE has shipped tens of thousands of good jobs out of the United States.  Perhaps GE should change its slogan to "Imagination At Work (In China)".  If the very people that have been entrusted with solving the unemployment crisis are shipping jobs out of the country, what hope is there that things are going to turn around any time soon?

Mike did you see him in a prominent place during the jobs speech.  Of course he is a big backer of Numb Nuts and by the way makes a ton of money off of Numb Nuts Green Agenda and get this, this is the best part.  His company paid zero corporate taxes last year.  How that, hu?  Good to have a buddy in high places.   Wink  Another point I consider him UnAmerican for supply parts and supplies to Iran who we had embargoed thru a loop hole.  This man is a real gem. No wonder him and Numb Nuts get along so well.   Angry

Good night the boss says that is enough for one day.   Roll Eyes  There is always tomorrow and this inexperienced President we have provides plenty of ammo.  No effort required.  Wink Gee he thought his days as a Community Organizer qualified him for the most powerful job in the world.   Huh  How is that working out?

GE didn't create the corporate tax loopholes promoted by the GOP for 30 years....they just use them like every other corporation in america.  Let's face it......shipping jobs overseas is the best way to create massive profits.  ther workers there don't have running water, sewer or roads I.e taxes.  those jobs will never be back.
