Reid is not going to pursue this with any haste.  It's a set up for the election.  See, the GOP is about tax cuts for the rich and special interest.......they're not for jobs.  They like the cheap labor in the third world.  They're obviously going to oppose the jobs bill and set the stage for the primary campaign issue of 2012.

You need to f**king learn to read.  What I said is that the jobs bill is sucker bait for the dumb ass right wing politicians who will oppose it, and create a talking point for your gay sister Rachel.

Mike, I think you are mistaken.  What is sad is that Obama the clueless believes this shit.  He would rather have fairness than jobs.  He has zero logic.  If raising taxes on the rich doesn't produce revenue and creates more joblessness that is OK with him.  You see, it is fair.  The guy has to go because he is such an ideologue that he is dangerous to this country.

Right now he is sticking his nose in the European financial problem telling them how to solve it.  He is doing such a good job here.  Did you read what their reaction was?  Well it wasn't too kind.  Germany told him to mind his own business and go solve his own problems first.

If Obama succeeds we will all be sitting in the gutter together. A country broken, no future, no hope but that is OK because at least it was fair.  Sad

The other thing that I think about is that when people get desperate and it is starting. Well the world has not been a pretty place and all it takes is the right circumstances and a spark.  In normal times there are enough of rational people around to counter this.  Where the hell are we going? Spread hate, spread class warfare, apologise for perceived wrongs to the world and protray us as weak and divided.  Not the recipe for peace.  Roll Eyes

Back to the original question......where is the GOP job bill that isn't some BS trickle down system that gives everything to big business.  the sad part is they believe that shit themselves.

They already know an auto worker in China gets $185 a month......those jobs ain't coming back.  they have not proposed a small business bill that would encourage small businesses, (70% of the jobs in America)  because what they really want is a 2 class system.

So back to the real question....how would the GOP fix the economy and create jobs?
Jobs=consumers, consumers create demand, demand creates jobs!     ECON 101

Obama has in his quest to go to any lengths to level the playing field in the name of fairness, given new meaning to the expression "thrown the baby out with the bath water." Or if you believe in fairy tales, "killed the goose that laid the golden egg."

I equate you Obama supporters to sports fans no matter what, no matter how bad the team stinks, you still root for that team. I'm Ok with that. In this case when the team continues to fail eventually the coach gets fired and in this case it will be in November 2012.   Wink

Ry, I was in the city a few weeks ago, thankfully they were not there.  This is just what I don't understand.  Vilify big oil, big banks, insurance, ect. ect.  Pass more laws to regulate and tax them, at a time when they are just hanging on. And then say, gee why aren't they doing more hiring.  Huh

Numb Nuts has done this since day one.  Now he needs the jobs they would have provided.  It still goes on.  With all of these lawsuits against big banks over mortgages.  Early on, the government should have helped settle all of this so we could put this behind us.  They twist the arm of Bank of America to take over Merrill Lynch and Countryside and now most of the lawsuits concern this.  Just amazing.  Would have been better to just let them go under then and put all this behind us.

Like I said the other night.  We will all be sitting on the curb, broke and in despair (all of us, rich & poor) but Numb Nuts will be happy because, after all it is fair.  We will all have nothing, no jobs, no homes, no money but we will have equality.  I,m convinced that he believes this shit. That's frickin real scary. He is surrounded by like thinkers.  Sad

Quote
The authentic Obama is a leveler, a committed social democrat, a staunch believer in the redistributionist state, a tribune, above all, of “fairness” — understood as government-imposed and government-enforced equality.

That’s why “soak the rich” is not just a campaign slogan to rally the base. It’s a mission, a vocation. It’s why, for all its gratuitous cynicism and demagoguery, Obama’s populist Rose Garden lecture on Monday was delivered with such obvious — and unusual — conviction.

He’s returned to the authenticity of his radical April 2009 “New Foundation” address (at Georgetown University) that openly proclaimed his intent to fundamentally transform America.

Good. There’s something to be said for authenticity. A choice, not an echo, said Barry Goldwater. The country will soon choose, although not soon enough.

Jeez...after reading that I'm beginning to feel sorry for banks and big oil......I mean they're just barely "hangin on" in these rough times.....so I have a plan.  Why don't you and Ry and the rest of the Tea Party cracked pots send them say $500 apiece?  Hell send them $500 for me while you're at it!

Mike, the banks don't need my money, they need to be left alone to do what they do best.  (Not what you think)  To spur economic development by lending money and providing business services with.  The oil companies would be fine also if they would allow them to drill and stop threatening them for using the same deductions which are used by every other company.   Wink

How many jobs have been lost by the attacks, lawsuits and over regulation?  There definitely was problems but the response, especially in bad economic times was overblown.  Thank you Congressman Frank and Senator Dodd.  Oh, and you too, Numb Nuts.   Roll Eyes
