Bob, I talked to Marty by email an hour ago and they are doing what they can to get back, he hopes it will be soon. It was a severe attack and so far it seems to have succeeded.  I wish him luck but I have very little understanding of such things.  |

It's really sad that someones goal is to sabotage other people's interests/joys. I guess they are very happy individuals who hide behind computers. Now if you ever meet me in person, after a few beers, I'll give you the down and dirty version of my statement  . |

The sad part about all of this is that Marty and his business is not the main victim here. Practically every mom and pop business on San Pedro relies on ac.com to feature and showcase their websites. So all the little stores, small hotels and diveshops etc have been cut off from the world. Most don't have the skills, time or energy to manage their web design and deal with hosts etc so they rely heavily on Marty to keep them afloat.
Whoever thought this would be funny and has been sitting smugly reveling in their dastardly behaviour is a sad excuse for a human being and if they live on the island or have any love for it should stop the attack (if that is possible.)
Yes we are all vulnerable but it is nice to live as if we don't need to watch our back every moment of the day. Sure some smarmy bastard thought it would be fun to pull off this attack but if they think that they are smarter than everyone else that might be true, but they are definitely not welcome in my life.
Talk about destroying an island - thanks a lot buddy I hope the high you have enjoyed will keep you warm.
Whoever has done this hasn't actually "won" unless they fess up. But most gutless bullies don't have the balls. Let's wait and see who crawls out of their pit to dance around in glory.
I definitely would vote that person off the island!
Anyway off to work I go. See y'all around and about.

Why on earth would you say that? I just posted here because new posts on ac.com don't last long. I have a wonderful grip on reality but thanks for your concern and conjecture. |
