Since I am on a role with tech questions today I have one more.

There is a my bluetooth places icon on my desk top of net book and no delete option when I right click on it.

I would like to know if there is anyway around that.

When you would use bluetooth on netbook in first place I thought it was a phone thing [showing true low tech colors on that one]

When you right click the icon, if there is no delete option, is there a "remove from desktop" option?

Regarding bluetooth, there are lots of things that can work wirelessly with your computer via bluetooth...

  • Keyboards
  • Mouses
  • Headphones
  • Other computers for network sharing

There's more I'm sure...

when I right click all I get is... open - explore - add a bluetoth device for options.

Since I can get to it from start menu I was surprised I could not remove it from desk top.

Thanks DS good to know what I can do with it at least.

You obviously have a Bluetooth device installed.  Go to "Device Manager" in "Control Panel" and remove or disable it.
