Biodegradables

Our Nov. 17 San Pedro Daily reported that:

"It is now possible and commercially affordable to replace all Styrofoam and virtually every type of disposable plastic bag, container, bowl, cup etc. used on Ambergris Caye with equal or superior counterparts that biodegrade – without releasing toxins – in a mere 50 to 90 days."

Some of the biodegragable cups and plates, etc., that would appear to be most useful for families, etc., are available at Richie's Market up by the traffic circle.  Stop in for a look-see, and maybe offer them congratulations for putting the needs of our community ahead of fears about not playing it safe commercially in hard times.
