I just browsed thru the other board and they have posted a report for Saga for November. Hmmm - I hadn't noticed them posting reports before.

it would be interesting if they ever post monthly accounts
monthly donations and thank-you letters-
just out of interest I was never thanked by the saga board with the exception of Grant (verbally only),and Laurie before she was unceremoniously kicked off the board with raising around 19k-I was not the only person who helped but as their two biggest fundraisers(ever) were at Pedro's a thank-you letter would have been polite
If you look at the web site -the party that raised 600bzd at BC's receives a good amount of publicity/thanks on the site-we receive none-the creators of the web site were also never thanked-it will also be interesting if their attitude changes towards major fundraisers and donors -my guess is probably not

I contacted the Saga board to point out that they were remiss in reporting the Pedro's Inn Halloween fundraiser and the fact that I thought it would be highly appropriate to add a story since it was such a huge financial success, raising a large amount of money for the charity. The directors of Saga confirmed receipt of my email message - and you can see the results.
I am very disappointed with the board of Saga. I truly thought that new blood would thrust the organization to a higher more positive and progressive level of service and professionalism.

I too asked for a press release for the Pedro's event. To sum it up, I was told to go ask Pedro or Grant. I decided to stay out of it and drop the subject.

More importantly, there isn't an active donations page.
