Moose,  Peggycove one of my favorite places in NS.  I always stop there while touring to south coast but it has been years.  Never been there this time of the year though, I'm smarter than that.  Grin

You guys where talking about the tidal bore.  I've done some sailing up there and entering some rivers is really an experience.  For instances even entering Yarmouth.  Go in on a high tide it is one scene, on a low tide a completely different scene with boats sitting in the mud and the water a long way from land.  The currents are tough ago of course.  People great.  The only place I've had Halibut and chips as an option to regular fish and chips.  Great memories.  Fish, Lobsters, Beer and lots of fun.

One time in Yarmouth where I used to clear customs the customs man insisted that I tie up to the dock where the Ferry ties up.  I tried to talk him into letting me go in to the town docks which float but he would have none of it.  Well, I tied up but then had to call him on the radio and tell him it was impossible for me to get off the boat because the dock was a ways up there if you know what I mean, at less than high tide.  Also the dock manager was screaming at me that the ferry was due in an hour and I couldn't stay there.  Typical government.  I ended up over at the floating docks.

Ok, I've told my sea story for the day.  Cheesy

Haha, great story Jim. Here are 2 pics from Halls Habour, south shore of Bay of Fundy, one at low tide and one at high tide. Amazing area.
