According to Gawker, McAfee is a big ole faker...

Frankly I don't really care what he's up to.  More interesting to me than that was that he seems to have resurrected some of his old ideas as businesses in Belize.

he has started a number of businesses here-the microlight business is closed-maybe something to do with licenses-not having them would be my guess
nice guy but does not drink so he is not very affable-he will not employ people who drink which means he has staff that are really sad

I'm not sure if 7 news understands the word viral as they used it in the headline, but regardless, here is an article with McAfee fighting back.

So far, I believe he has quadrupled the prices.

We took Coastal Xpress to town form Palmero Point last night.  The round trip  fare was $4 less than before Island Ferry went out of business and only $2 more than a one way trip on Island Ferry.  Service was good as always.

$4 less than Island Ferry before Island Ferry went out of business? Or $4 less than Costal Xpress before Island Ferry went out of business?

How much lower is it now per round trip than it was at it's high with either company?

$4 less than Coastal Xpress before Island Ferry went out of business.  It is $4 less than Coastal Xpress at its highest and $30 less than Island Ferry at its highest per round trip.

I guess its hit or miss with the pricing.  When they first started, they would pick up my guests from 4 miles south take them to town and charge them $10 each.  A couple months ago they wanted to charge $190 EACH to go to Rojo.  That seems like a hike in prices to me.
