I would like to use this message board to say a BIG thank you to Laurie the Vet.
Tuesday night she had to come to my house, which is 7 miles North of San Pedro, to put to sleep "Cuda" a great dane dog, he had been ill for a long time, and Laurie had been treating him, sometimes staying up late at night to see that he was ok. Unfortunately he did not get better, so the hard decision was made to put him out of his misery and discomfort.
Laurie came with a small bouquet of flowers for "Cuda" and was very upset at having to do what had to be done. She had become very attached to "Cuda" who was a wonderful dog.
So thank you Laurie for your professional manner and your long time support in trying to help "Cuda".

Tracker, my sincere condolances for the loss of your beloved Cuda. Losing a pet is losing a child, as most of us pet owners know.

I'm glad Laurie was there to help you through this difficult time. Even though it hurts, your decision to relieve Cuda's pain was the kind thing to do.
